Seven.
It's not my lucky number nor a number I wanna include in a lottery ticket. It's how long I have been with my first job, and my first company since I have graduated in college.
One might find it either a good thing or otherwise. A good thing because for someone to stay that long in a company talks about loyalty which majority of the job seekers now don't have or a bad thin because I chose to stay and did not get out of my comfort zone unlike the others.
I am proud to have been working in my company, eTelecare now Stream for seven years, and while from time to time, I am ranting about negative things about my job, it still can't be denied that it has made me who I am right now. A more confident and principled man I learned from the core values of the company.
On the other hand, I've also been thinking about getting out of comfort zone. For the past years, I am trying to see if I can live outside my comfort zone that's why I made some decisions that I have never thought that I could create. For one, transferring to a different site and program after being comfortable with the the previous one.
Right now, in all honesty, I am still mustering enough guts to finally say goodbye.I know, in God's time, I'd be able to get out of my comfort zone and let all this end.
For the meantime, I am going with the flow. I am still reaping the fruits of the decision a couple of months ago.
