Canon G11 vs Lumix LX3

I am already planning to retire my Canon Ixus es70 which I bought over 4 years ago. I have an entry level SLR but you really can’t bring it everytime you want to bring a camera with you, plus during basketballs games, you are going to be having a difficult time sneaking it inside the coliseum.

I am looking at Canon G10 and anasonic Lumix LX3. Previously I had my eyes of Canon G10 and I never thought there’s already a G10, it’s succesor.
