It was just one of those nights when you don't know what to do to kill time and you thought to just grab a DVD, lie on your bed hoping that this film would satisfy you.
In all honesty, I did not expect that I would like this movie, Source Code. I find it too bland for a title, and had the impression that it would bore me. I was wrong. Totally. These types of movies are growing on me. First, it was Salt starring Angelina Jolie and then Source Code top-billed by Jake Gylenhaal.
I liked it. In fact, it would go up to one of my favorite films this year. I did not expect a movie to be on just two settings (Chicago/Train and HQ) and it kept me glued to my television and won't pass like something that would have a sincere human element amidst the science-fiction genre.
My favorite part was when Colter Stevens called his father pretending to be Shawn Ferris that he was with his son when he died in Afghanistan as part of the US army troop. Their conversation was just realy for me and I just really felt how the father missed his son so much and and that all he wanted was for him to come back.
I found myself almost shedding a tear.
Out of 10, I'll give it 8.5. Good movie.
