Better Late Than Never

I spoke too soon.

I know it was not on the date of my birthday, but as they said, it's better late than never.

In all honesty, I felt bad when angel did not even bother to greet me during my birthday. Angel's the most important person I have in my life; even more important than my own; and Angel did not bother to go to Facebook and message me; or text me or call me; or what not.

It was not complete. I know I was being unfair to the others and I am sorry. I just really can't stand the fact that Angel was not there. We celebrated my birthday nonetheless; we're not complete and Angel was not there as well. I enjoyed and I had blast in my birthday.

It was memorable because something happened before we even end the event. One of my friends had to be rushed to the hospital because he could not breathe anymore. We were so worried but the good thing was he was okay in the end. Thank God.

I received a message on my phone. It was not text message; it was a message from FB.

All sorrows were gone. I did not manage to pour on my hate. I was already mesmerized by the fact that Angel managed to  message me.

Better late than never.

We also had the chance to catch up the following week.

I say, my birthday was not 'perfect" but it was already sweet to say the least. The sweetest compared to my previous birthdays.
